I fell in love with this painting first time I saw it shared online by Saskia. Back then, it didn’t have a name. The piercing eyes of the squirrel was what caught my eye first. I stared at the picture for minutes on end as it’s so hypnotising! I left a comment to the photo shared online and this is how the story really begun! Saskia kindly replied promptly to my comment and invited me to admire her wider collection of amazing artwork on her website, offering to provide more details about this mesmerising masterpiece. I gladly accepted and shortly afterwards I became the happy (and lucky!) owner of this gorgeous painting! Any photos of this painting don’t do justice to the real painting! It’s beyond words to express how beautiful it is ❤️ As with all Saskia’s paintings, it needed some time to completely dry to be fit for shipping. When the time came, Saskia and I agreed the date of the shipping to ensure successful delivery from the first attempt. And so it was 😌 The parcel was delivered smoothly and in perfect condition, I do appreciate the care Saskia took to pack it and the lovely handwritten message included along with the certificate of authenticity. From the moment I first interacted with Saskia one to one until present she has proven to be not only an extremely talented artist but also a very friendly, proactive and prompt individual. Saskia is such an open and lovely person, it’s always a pleasure interacting with her 😊 Her paintings are amazingly well-done (Lucky is the first painting I bought from her and hopefully not the only one!) and she really enjoys painting anything she creates, she adds that human touch to everything she creates, it’s not just a business, which makes her stand out from the crowd 😊 We both agreed to the name of this painting: Lucky. I believe it’s the best name for this painting and the lady squirrel: I was lucky that Saskia’s and my path crossed and I found this painting still available, and the beautiful squirrel was lucky to find a new home which is cosy and she is appreciated and loved 🥰 I’m really grateful that I got to meet Saskia, an amazing artist and person who deserves so much more recognition for her impressive artwork than she has been getting! I truly hope to see her artwork displayed in famous art galleries in a near future! Thank you, Saskia, for everything you have been doing to make this world a better place!
